This document outlines the rules and regulations that govern the relationship between you (“Client” or “Traveler”) and Bhomoro, A Cerulean Compass Experiences Private Limited. (“Bhomoro,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By proceeding with a booking, you accept these terms in full. Please go through them carefully before confirming your reservation.
Who are we:
Bhomoro, A Cerulean Compass Experiences Private Limited Company is a legally registered company under the Companies Act, 2013, with its headquarters at 4/54 Vidyasagar Colony, Kolkata, West Bengal, Pin – 700047.
We are a tour operator and our expertise is in organizing group expeditions, and thrilling motorcycle and backpacking trips in India.
What we do:
We provide a variety of travel solutions,
- Community Trips:
Tours that seamlessly integrate cultural immersion, culinary exploration, historical insights, artistic appreciation, nature experiences, and sustainable food practices for a holistic travel experience for group of travelers. - Adventure Travel:
Adventures like motorcycle tours and backpacking expeditions offering exceptional value for money.
Reservations and Payments:
- Confirming Your Booking:
Your booking is considered confirmed only after 15% of the package price as deposit is received. All price estimates remain tentative until the final payment is made, and availability is verified. If any modification occurs regarding hotels, motorcycles or any other aspects of the itinerary, we will promptly notify you within 48 hours of such occurrences of change. Payment Guidelines:
Payments must be completed per the payment schedule shared at the time of booking. Please refer the General Payment Schedule below for estimated timeline. We accept online bank transfers, credit/debit cards, and UPI. Prices are calculated in INR, and foreign exchange rates apply at the time of the final transaction.

Non-Payment Consequences:
If the payments are not received by the due dates as per payment schedule (both the 35 Days and 20 Days mentioned above), Bhomoro holds the right to cancel your booking on those due dates and the same will be notified to you over email.Uninformed Deposits:
Any unnotified cash deposits made into our bank accounts against a booking will be deemed forfeited.
Pricing Details:
Price Determination: Trip costs are determined by current availability and exchange rates. The final price will be confirmed at the time of booking, with any rate adjustments communicated promptly.
Inclusions and Exclusions: Package details will be provided during the booking confirmation. Services beyond those outlined in your package will require an additional charge.
Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Client-Initiated Cancellations:
To cancel a booking, a formal written request must be submitted over email at travel@bhomoro.com. Cancellation charges apply as per the conditions stated during booking. Please refer the General Cancellation Schedule below for estimated timeline. If eligible, refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days.

Credit Notes in Place of Refunds:
In most situations, refunds will be provided in the form of credit notes rather than direct reimbursements.Non-Refundable Amounts:
Cancellation fees are final and non-reversible.
Note: To ensure smooth operations for all stakeholders (including you, the travelers), meticulous prior arrangements are crucial. This includes booking accommodations, organizing meals, and reserving all experiences outlined in the itinerary. Hence, your understanding on the cancellation policy timelines are truly appreciated.
Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Modifications by Bhomoro:
While we strive to maintain planned itineraries, unforeseen events (such as political unrest, weather, or logistical challenges) may necessitate adjustments to accommodations, transport, or tour routes. We are committed to informing you of any changes at the earliest opportunity.Group Tour Operations:
To ensure the best group trip experience, we need at least 10 full-paying travelers. If we don’t reach this minimum, we will promptly inform you and we’ll work with you to find a suitable alternative, such as a different date or trip. We guarantee that you’ll be able to use 100% of your payment—either as a refund or credit—towards a future adventure. You’ve invested in a travel dream, and we’re committed to making it happen. Your money is fully protected for any itinerary changes or cancellations we make.On-Tour Adjustments:
We understand that unforeseen events, such as natural disasters or emergencies, can sometimes impact travel plans. If such situations arise, we may need to modify the itinerary for the safety of everyone involved. We’ll do our best to minimize any inconvenience and keep you informed every step of the way.
Travel Insurance:
- Importance of Insurance:
While we take every precaution to ensure a smooth trip, we strongly advise you to obtain comprehensive travel insurance. This will protect you against unforeseen events like trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and lost baggage. Bhomoro’s responsibility does not extend to expenses covered by your insurance policy. Medical Considerations:
For your safety and well-being, please let us know about any pre-existing medical conditions you have before your trip booking. We may request a medical clearance certificate to ensure we can best accommodate your needs.
Health & Safety Guidelines:
Health Regulations:
We want you to have a healthy and enjoyable trip! Please double-check the health requirements, including an vaccinations if necessary for you. Please let us know about any medical conditions that may require special attention or could impact your trip.Safety Instructions:
While we want you to enjoy your trip, your safety and the safety of others is our top priority. Hence, adhering to Bhomoro’s safety is mandatory throughout the journey. Failure to comply may unfortunately result in the termination of your travel arrangements without a refund.Participation in Adventure Activity:
While we offer a variety of exciting adventure activities to enhance your travel experience, participation is at the traveler’s sole risk. It is essential to evaluate your physical condition prior to engaging in these activities. Although we take all reasonable precautions to ensure your safety, Bhomoro cannot be held responsible for any injuries sustained during such activities.
Documentation Requirements:
Traveler’s Responsibility:
Non-Indian citizens are responsible for obtaining and possessing all necessary travel documents, including valid passports, visas, and any other documents required to visit India. Bhomoro is not responsible for any travel disruptions or denied entry due to insufficient or invalid documentation.- Permit Requirements:
We’ll take care of securing the required inner line and special permits for your travels within India, in compliance with Government of India regulations. To do so, we’ll need your identification documents (Aadhar card, passport, and visa details etc) and we will inform you to share those documents with us in due time. Bhomoro is not responsible for any permit denials.
Hotel Accommodation:
- Check-In and Check-Out Timings:
Hotels typically operate with a 12 PM check-in time and an 11 AM check-out time. If you require an early check-in or late check-out, please let us know, and we can check availability and any applicable charges with the hotel. These charges are to be borne by the traveler. - Room Allocation:
While room sizes and amenities can vary between hotels and categories, we will do our best to meet your needs.
Transportation & Sightseeing:
- Transfers:
Transportation services are provided in accordance with the scheduled itinerary and are exclusively for the planned activities. Travelers are requested to be punctual, as delays may disrupt the overall schedule and impact the overall itinerary. - Tour Activities:
a. Sightseeing itineraries are subject to modification based on prevailing local conditions, which may include weather, accessibility, or other unforeseen circumstances. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds for activities that are altered or missed due to these circumstances.b. While we understand personal plans can change, unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds for any unused services from the scheduled itinerary.
Liability & Responsibilities:
- Third-Party Services:
Bhomoro acts as an intermediary, connecting travelers with external service providers such as hotels, transportation companies, and other relevant entities. We have implemented quality control measures to minimize potential disruptions. However, it’s important to understand that we are not responsible for any failures or deficiencies in the services provided by these third-party providers. - Unforeseen Events:
Bhomoro is not liable for any disruptions, cancellations, or losses caused by force majeure events, which include but are not limited to natural disasters, strikes, acts of war, pandemics, and other similar events beyond our reasonable control.
Conduct of Travelers:
- Behavior Guidelines:
We request all the travelers to treat fellow participants with respect, adhere to all applicable local laws and regulations, and be mindful of and respectful towards local cultural norms and customs. Any disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in the cancellation of travel arrangements without a refund being issued.
Legal Compliance & Dispute Resolution:
- Regulatory Adherence:
These terms and conditions have been drafted to comply with laws of India, including, but not limited to, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Information Technology Act, 2000. - Resolving Disputes:
We are committed to resolving any disputes amicably. Any conflicts arising under these terms will first be addressed through mediation or arbitration, as permitted by Indian regulations. - Jurisdiction:
All legal matters, disputes, or claims arising under or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts 1 and tribunals located in Kolkata.
