Bhomoro

About Us

Bhomoro is a quiet rebellion against the hurried world—an intentionally intimate travel collective born from deep, enduring relationships. Every journey we design is a unique piece of hand-mapped artistry, anchored by our own lived experiences and a beautifully woven network of relationships with local families, reclusive stays, brilliant guides, custodians of the land, and indigenous communities.

How did we
come into being

It all started with a love for the open road–the kind that makes you chase sunrises and sunsets, share stories with strangers by a bonfire, and take the long way just to see where it leads.

We craved those moments of pure, unadulterated connection–with the landscapes, the people, and ourselves. Our personal journeys weren’t about ticking off tourist attractions; they were about slow mornings with chai overlooking the hills, the thrill of navigating misty forests, and stumbling upon hidden gems where the food felt like a warm embrace. It was about the little moments that weave together to create an unforgettable tapestry of experiences.

This passion for authentic adventure, balanced with comfort and genuine care, ignited the spark that became Bhomoro.

Rajib Karmakar

Co-founder, Bhomoro

Rajib is a former software professional who traded lines of code for the open road. An avid motorcyclist and perceptive photographer, his deep love lies in slow exploration. He brings analytical precision, deep local insight, and a quiet, deliberate care to every journey he hosts.

Bhomoro is defined by the distinct perspectives of Rajib and Shreyasi. Together, they weave technical precision with with rich storytelling, turning slow exploration into an intentional, deeply personal journey.

Shreyasi transitioned from the world of publishing to the art of mindful travel. Immersed in books for a lifetime, her approach to exploration is deeply thoughtful and deliberate. She treats every landscape as an unread chapter, bringing profound curiosity and gentle care to every journey she hosts.
